Real estate photographer Berlin and Hamburg

Real estate photography in Berlin & Hamburg: Why good pictures make all the difference:
Anyone who has ever tried to sell or rent an apartment or house knows that the quality of the photos plays a major role. Especially when it comes to real estate photos, the photographer’s experience and skills are key to successfully marketing a property.
Even before someone reads the first sentence, the pictures are what stick – or not.

Modern architectural photography of a loft at dusk - interior with fireplace, wall of books and terrace in Hamburg

Especially in cities like Berlin or Hamburg, where competition is fierce, a strong photo can decide whether someone clicks on “Open exposé” or continues scrolling. This is exactly where I come in.

I am a professional real estate photographer in Berlin and Hamburg. Whether it’s a modern apartment in Kreuzberg or a charming old apartment in Winterhude – I show real estate as it really is: atmospheric, honest and technically flawlessly photographed.

Photos that don’t deceive – but convince

Minimalist loft bedroom with shelving system and large window front - Architekturfotografie Berlin & HamburgI don’t take photos of rooms to make them look bigger than they are. I want prospective buyers to recognize exactly what they have seen in the pictures when they come to view the property. Of course, with the right perspective you can create a little more width – but always with moderation. I don’t work with extreme wide-angle lenses, but rely on tilt-shift lenses. These technical marvels allow me to make rooms look natural – and without any falling lines or distortion. My photos are honest – but still emotional. I want you to get a feeling for the space when you look at them. That you can imagine how the light falls through the window, where you would put your favorite sofa or how cozy the kitchen can be in the evening. HERE you can see more examples of my interior shots

Professional lighting for real estate photos

Architectural photography of a living room with studio flash in front of a large window - Real estate photography Berlin and HamburgLight is the be-all and end-all. And I don’t just rely on what’s there. I work with a mobile flash setup that allows me to set specific light – even if it’s a gray sky outside or the window is facing the wrong way.
With my flashes, I can simulate sunlight, set specific accents and create a lighting mood that looks natural but is perfectly controlled. That makes the difference between a nice snapshot and a real photo that sticks.

How to create a perfect picture from several images

For me, the work doesn’t stop when I click the shutter – on the contrary: the final image is often created in post-processing. I work with a technique in which I combine several individual shots – usually one image with flash and one with natural ambient light. I then combine the best elements from both versions in Photoshop. In this way, the atmosphere remains natural, but at the same time all details are clearly and evenly exposed. No image looks overly artificial, but nothing is lost in the shadows either. This elaborate processing ensures that the photos are of high quality, honest and at the same time effective – and come across exactly as you would experience the property when viewing it.

In love with detail, but not overstaged

Modern architectural photography of a round countertop washbasin on a wooden panel in a designer bathroom in Hamburg - detail shot from aboveI take the time to understand a property. I look at what makes it special – whether it’s a beautiful wooden floor, an exciting room layout or a high-quality fitted kitchen.
It’s often the little things that make a property interesting. In my pictures, you can find both the big picture and the fine details.
I don’t want to show a sterile, glossy world, but character. But in a way that sells – not overwhelms.

3D floor plans that you understand

This is particularly helpful for those who are not very familiar with normal 2D plans.
A spatial, clear overview makes it much easier to imagine how the apartment is laid out, where the rooms are located or how much space there really is. This is a real added value, especially in online exposés – and shows that you are thinking along with the seller.

Aerial photography with a drone – for an overview from above

Drone shot of a green roof terrace with seating area and urban surroundings - Real Estate Photography Berlin & HamburgSome properties need a perspective from above to show their full potential – for example, a house with a garden, an attic with a terrace or a plot in a special location.
With my drone, I take high-quality aerial photos that show the surroundings, the location and the architecture from a bird’s eye view. Especially in Hamburg or Berlin, where location is everything, this can be a real selling point.

Everything from a single source

What many of my customers particularly appreciate: They don’t have to worry about anything. I advise, plan, photograph, edit the images, deliver them sorted and in the right resolution for the web or for the exposé. On request, I can also provide the 3D floor plans. No back and forth with different service providers, no coordination marathons. I am your contact for everything to do with real estate photography. Simple, reliable, high quality.

I’m at home in Berlin – and also work in Hamburg

I live in Berlin, but I regularly travel to Hamburg for my clients. Whether real estate agents, architects or owners – I offer my full service there too: with the same care, the same eye for detail and just as efficiently as in Berlin. For me, Hamburg is no exception, but an integral part of my work.

Honest photos. Strong effect.

Good real estate photos are not a bonus – they are a prerequisite. If you want to sell or let, you need informative and emotional images. I photograph real estate with the aim that the photos not only look good, but also have an impact. That they inform, arouse curiosity and establish a connection. Whether in Berlin, Hamburg or somewhere in between – I look forward to your inquiry.
